Event Flyer created for the Nevada State Apartment Association’s 2012 July Networking Dinner Event.
The Nevada State Apartment Association (NVSAA) is a non-profit organization who provides the Nevada multi-housing industry with legislative support, education and community outreach to benefit our membership and the communities we serve. The NSAA is devoted to supporting the diversity, integrity and ever-changing environment of the multi-family industry.
About every 2 to 3 months the NVSAA has an educational dinner event which requires Somebody to develop an Event Flyer, which is used to attract members and non-members to its event. Event Flyers for the NVSAA have four major components within the design:
1) Date, Time and Location of the Event (speaker, if applicable)
2) Platinum Sponsor Logos and Event Sponsor Logo (required somewhere within flyer)
3) Accompanying Registration Form
4) Design Elements, Which Should Suit Event Theme
Somebody worked with the Event sponsor (Republic Services) to create a headline, “The Power of Recycling“. The concept behind “The Power of Recycling” is to educate attendees on the benefits of recycling for renewable energy. With that concept in mind Somebody wanted to create a “fun” but sophisticated design around “green”. The “green” portion of the design is well represented by a green cloud, glowing light bulb made of green products and the universal logo for recycling. The remainder of the design has simple elements, like a cartoon employee for Republic Services who “plugged in” the cloud, a bird, the sun and additional clouds. Most of the text refers to the date, time and location specifics. There is rarely a true “call-to-action” in the NVSAA flyers. The goal of these Event Flyers, typically, is to direct the end user to the Registration Form (CLICK HERE TO VIEW) via an e-mail campaign or direct solicitation from personal interaction (handing them out).
NOTE: Somebody apologizes for the possible pixilation of our uploaded image, the Registration Form above. Image compression can cause some media to look poor and this is not a reflection of the quality of the finished design.
Adobe Photoshop was the only design tool used. The font used was Sansation and Sansation Light, which worked perfectly with the design.
